Antrim - Event Notice Thursday January 01 1970 Second Belfast Protest against the Tory/Lib Dem Education Cuts/Fee Rises![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The newly established Northern Ireland Student Assembly (NISA) has called for a second protest at Belfast City for people to unite in the fight against tuition fee rises and cuts in EMA in the North. The fight for education now comes direct to our doorstep, as the Assembly prepares to debate and vote on the future of education in Northern Ireland in the coming months. The Minister responsible, Danny Kennedy, has already indicated that he wants to follow Westminster's lead.
